Are you blocking your own success?

Consider for a moment your general thought and belief patterns. Do you tend towards the negative, seeing the worst in life and the worst in a situation? Remember, your thoughts become your reality.
“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”
Not only will negative beliefs and thoughts lead to depression and anxiety, but it will also limit your success in work or business. If ever there's a case for thinking positively it is this!
You’ll find that actively changing your thoughts leads to general happiness in life as well as increased success in your business. Visualise your work day before you begin, picture your day unfolding in your mind, leading to success, focus on the way you want your day to unfold. Consciously push negative thoughts from your mind during the day and change them to positive thoughts.
If you have low self-esteem and low self-worth you may find yourself self-sabotaging in your business and work as well as your personal life. If your relationships fail time after time and your bank account is always in the negative, you may be in a self-fulfilling cycle of destruction. When it comes to self-esteem, remember that the most important opinion in the world is your own, and the most important words you hear are the words you say to yourself. So become your own best friend, give yourself the kindness and support you need and every aspect of your life will begin to improve.
How do you relieve stress? A build up of stress affects your body, your thoughts and feelings, and behaviour. Stress left unchecked can lead to many issues. You need to be able to recognise signs of stress and make daily effort to relieve and counteract the stress in a positive way. Drowning your sorrows every evening with alcohol is not the answer, but rather get fresh air, exercise, meditate or take up another positive hobby to give the stress an outlet.
And finally, if you are arrogant or conceited you are almost always going to fail. Recognise that you are covering almost certainly for insecurity in your ability, and instead work on building your confidence and your knowledge in what you are offering. Always focus on how you help, rather than the money.
Ensuring that your mind and body are working together well is essential for optimum performance, as well as general happiness and fulfilment in life. Keeping your mind and body healthy should be your top priority as everything will flow from this. It takes daily effort and conscious work to reprogram your mind in this way. I’m not going to pretend it’ll be easy, but it will be worth it.
